The brain behind the designs
Noelani is equal parts maximalist and bohemian, but still firmly rooted in the design vocabulary of classic New England. Dare we use the phrase, ‘boho-ditional’? While she may personally favor the bold, she is able to deliver what each individual home, client, and design needs. Your vision is brought to life through in-home consultation, design boards, space planning, detailed source selections, and the sprinkles on top, expert styling.
Noelani has spent years honing her craft, starting young at her family flea market where she finely tuned her picking ‘eye’ and eventually moving on to art galleries, auction houses, and her most recent work at BijOU Magazine, where she was an editor and partner.
The career trajectory goes something like this, pursue a degree in art history and fine arts from Tufts University, cut teeth with a lifestyle blog, take on client work, and style ad campaigns and photoshoots for national furniture brands before finally launching her own firm a few years ago, along with COVID. She is tickled to see something positive come from the pandemic, aside from all that family time.
Her styling, interior designs, and collaborations have been featured in Houzz, Style Me Pretty, Apartment Therapy, BijOU Magazine, Consumer Reports, The Boston Globe, WCVB-Chronicle, Boston Common Magazine and Boston.com. Selected press and features here.
